Why us
Britain Car Parks offers Heathrow Airport parking deals for you to compare and pre-book. Our platform processes live inventory data from both official and independent providers, allowing you to avoid maximum gate-price markups and secure your ideal space before your departure day.
Flying out of the United Kingdom’s busiest aviation hub requires careful planning. To put the scale of this airport into perspective, Heathrow processed a staggering 84.46 million passengers in 2025. With this huge volume of daily footfall and tens of thousands of vehicles arriving each day, navigating the wide range of vehicle storage options can feel overwhelming. We serve as your ultimate Heathrow parking comparison, enabling you to seamlessly compare everything from luxury official Valet services to budget-friendly independent Park & Ride compounds.
The key to finding cheap rates is to finalise your reservation weeks in advance. By pre-booking through our platform, you avoid the extremely expensive drive-up gate prices and can save up to 80% on your total parking costs. You can easily manage your booking, change your dates, or cancel your reservation through our flexible portal.

About Terminals
Unlike smaller regional airports where you can walk between departure halls, Heathrow covers a vast area, with terminals literally miles apart. Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are located together in the central area, accessible via a main tunnel. Terminal 4 sits to the far south of the runways, and Terminal 5, the largest single building in the UK, is located to the extreme west.
Booking parking at the wrong terminal will result in a stressful and time-consuming transfer on your departure day. You must check your airline e-tickets to confirm your exact departure terminal before comparing deals and finalising your booking. Terminal allocations for specific airlines can change frequently due to operational shifts, so always verify your terminal directly on your booking rather than relying on a generic airline list or past travel experiences.
It is worth noting that Terminal 5 offers Heathrow’s full set of official parking options, serving millions of travellers every month. Booking the correct terminal eliminates unnecessary train or shuttle rides, gets you to the check-in desks quickly, and ensures your holiday begins smoothly.
Choose your style
We offer a diverse range of official on-site products managed directly by the airport authority. These facilities are strictly within the airport boundary and provide the ultimate convenience. Again remember, our Heathrow Airport Parking Discount Code is applied to all car parks to provide you max savings.
We offer a wide range of official on-site products managed directly by the airport authority. These facilities are strictly within the airport boundary and provide maximum physical convenience.
Terminal Parking uses large multi-storey concrete car parks located directly adjacent to Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4, and Terminal 5. After parking your vehicle, you take a rapid one- to three-minute covered walk straight to the check-in desks. You park your own vehicle, retain your keys, and keep your car protected from the elements. This facility is best suited for trips under three days, multi-day corporate business travellers, or anyone wanting the fastest transition from car to terminal. If you do not pre-book, standard turn-up prices for Terminal 5 start from £8.00 for just 29 minutes and increase rapidly, making advance booking through our platform essential.
Each terminal has its own dedicated Park & Ride compound located further out on the airport perimeter. You park your own car, keep your keys, and take the free official shuttle bus to the terminal. The shuttles run every 10 to 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, with a transit time of approximately 10 to 12 minutes depending on traffic. This cost-effective option is ideal for travellers taking traditional 1 to 2 week holidays. Importantly, this is the only facility where Heathrow provides a free drop-off option.
Priority Park & Ride is a mid-tier option available exclusively for Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and Terminal 5. This facility offers closer proximity to the terminals than the standard Park & Ride compounds. It also features a more frequent, dedicated shuttle service, reducing your transit time to around five to eight minutes and providing a smoother start to your journey.
The official Meet & Greet service provides premium convenience. You drive to a dedicated reception area located inside the Terminal Parking facility for your specific terminal. You hand your vehicle keys to fully insured Heathrow staff and simply walk into the terminal building. The staff park your car in a highly secure, monitored on-site compound for the duration of your trip, ensuring your vehicle is waiting for you upon your return.
Valet Parking is the ultimate VIP official service. You bypass the multi-storey car parks and drive directly to the designated terminal forecourt. You hand your keys to the Heathrow Valet staff, who immediately park your car in a secure location. This premium service offers maximum time savings and often includes optional premium additions, such as a professional interior and exterior car wash while you travel.
Pod Parking is an innovative, futuristic service available exclusively for passengers flying from Terminal 5. You park your vehicle in a dedicated surface lot, keep your keys, and step into an autonomous, driverless electric pod. The pod glides along a dedicated track, taking you directly into the Terminal 5 building. The journey takes about six minutes. It is a seamless, efficient, and eco-friendly transport method that eliminates the need for a traditional shuttle bus.
Independent commercial operators located just outside the airport boundary often provide the lowest daily rates. We list trusted, Park Mark-awarded operators on our platform so you can book a cheap, secure space with confidence.
Purple Parking is a popular independent provider operating a highly secure compound near the airport. They offer competitive pricing combined with frequent, recognisable shuttle buses that transfer travellers directly to the terminal doors. The facility is monitored by 24/7 CCTV, security patrols, and robust perimeter fencing to ensure your vehicle remains secure.
The Park Inn Heathrow operates a specific off-site option that provides excellent Park & Ride packages. You park your vehicle in their secure, monitored hotel car park and use their reliable bus transfers to reach the departure halls. It offers great value and peace of mind for longer trips, especially if you are flying from the central terminals (Terminal 2 and Terminal 3).
Gregg Maurice is an established independent off-site provider serving Heathrow travellers. They offer highly secure parking facilities with efficient shuttle transfers. Once you park your vehicle, their dedicated transport takes you to the departure halls in approximately 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and your exact terminal.
If you want the luxury of a valet service without paying the premium official airport prices, off-site Meet & Greet operators provide the ideal solution. You simply meet an insured chauffeur at your terminal's designated drop-off zone, and they drive your car to a secure off-site compound.
Premium Parking offers a luxury off-site valet service focused on top-tier customer care. Their professional drivers meet you at the terminal forecourt, handle the vehicle inspection promptly, and ensure your car is stored in a heavily protected, Park Mark-awarded facility while you proceed directly to the check-in desks.
Terminal Parking is an independent provider offering seamless terminal-side vehicle collection. You drive directly to your terminal, hand over your keys, and go straight to check-in. This service is especially convenient for families travelling with young children, bulky strollers, or heavy ski equipment that is difficult to carry onto a shuttle bus.
APH Parking is renowned for its excellent customer service and highly secure storage facilities. Their well-reviewed Meet & Greet product ensures a smooth handover process at the terminal doors, allowing you to start your holiday stress-free. APH drivers are fully insured and easily identifiable at the airport.
MBW Meet & Greet is a well-established, highly rated provider serving Heathrow. They are widely known for prompt vehicle collection and return directly at the Heathrow forecourts. They use continuously monitored off-site compounds to guarantee the safety of your vehicle from the moment you drop it off.
Dropping Off
Heathrow Airport strictly regulates traffic on the forecourts immediately outside the terminal doors. Understanding the payment rules and penalties is essential to avoid heavy fines that could ruin the start of your holiday.
Heathrow imposes a mandatory terminal drop-off charge of £7. This charge applies each time a vehicle enters a terminal drop-off zone directly outside Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5. If you re-enter the zone, you will be charged another £7.
There are no physical barriers or ticket machines at the drop-off zones. The system is operated by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras that scan your car as you enter and exit. Payment must be made online via the official Heathrow Drop-Off portal or by phone or by account (autosetup). The deadline to process this payment is midnight the following day.
If you fail to pay by the deadline, the penalty for non-payment is £80, reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days.
Please note, it is prohibited to pick up passengers from Heathrow's Terminal forecourts, and any cars left unattended will be removed by the police. Our Terminal Parking (previously Short Stay) car parks are near-terminal locations, just a 2-minute walk from the terminal doors.
You cannot pre-book parking for bookings shorter than 24 hours. If you wish to use the car park for less than 24 hours, please drive into the car park, take a ticket and pay at one of our pay-on-foot machines. Payments should be made at the car park pay-on-foot machines, not booked online.
| Duration | Pay at machine rates |
|---|---|
| 0 - 29 minutes | £8.00 |
| 30 - 44 minutes | £12.50 |
| 45 - 59 minutes | £15.50 |

Heathrow states that free drop-off is available only at the Park & Ride car parks, not at the terminal forecourts. To avoid the £7 fee entirely, you must take your vehicle to the Park & Ride compounds. You can drop off your passengers here for free, and they can take the free shuttle bus to the terminal.
Park & Stay
If you have an early morning departure, booking a "Stay, Park & Fly" package removes the stress of navigating M25 commuter traffic before dawn. You sleep in a comfortable hotel the night before and leave your car securely parked for the duration of your trip.
For maximum convenience, certain hotels connect directly to the terminal buildings via covered pedestrian walkways. The Sofitel is connected directly to Terminal 5, offering luxury accommodation and seamless access in just a few minutes.
The Hilton connects directly to Terminal 4 via a dedicated bridge, while the Aerotel is situated inside the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, offering unparalleled proximity for early flights.
The famous strip of hotels on Bath Road offers dozens of excellent "Park & Fly" deals. Trusted brands along this road, such as Premier Inn, Thistle, and Holiday Inn, provide budget-friendly overnight stays combined with long-term parking.
Travellers staying on Bath Road use the dedicated Hotel Hoppa Bus or local Transport for London (TfL) public buses to reach the terminals quickly. Many of these hotels also feature on-site dining, fitness centres, and comfortable lounge areas to help you start your holiday early.
Getting To Airport
Heathrow Airport is located 14 miles west of Central London and benefits from a comprehensive, multimodal transport network.

The airport is easily accessible from the major UK motorway network. For Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, exit the M4 at Junction 4 and follow the central tunnel under the runways. For Terminal 4 or Terminal 5, exit the M25 at Junction 14 and follow the perimeter roads.
Black cabs and private rideshare vehicles drop passengers directly on the terminal forecourts. The £7 drop-off fee applies to all taxis and is typically added to your final metered fare. For pick-ups, black cabs operate from dedicated ranks located inside the Terminal Parking facilities.
Heathrow offers excellent high-speed rail connectivity. The Heathrow Express provides the fastest route, departing from London Paddington and reaching the airport in just 15 minutes. The Elizabeth Line also serves dedicated stations at the terminals, offering a smooth, mid-tier priced journey across central London. The London Underground (Piccadilly Line) serves all terminals and is the most budget-friendly rail option, taking roughly 50 minutes from Piccadilly Circus.
The Heathrow Central Bus Station, located between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, serves as a major coach hub. It connects the airport to the National Express network, the Oxford Tube, and various local TfL red buses, providing comprehensive access to the rest of the UK.
At The Airport
As a premier global aviation hub processing tens of millions of travellers, Heathrow provides an exceptional passenger experience designed to help you relax, shop, and dine before your flight.
If you are travelling during peak holiday periods, purchasing a priority security pass allows you to skip the standard queues. The Fast Track lanes use dedicated screening portals to reduce your wait time, getting you into the departure lounge much faster.
Heathrow prioritises accessibility across the entire campus. All Terminal Parking and Park & Ride facilities feature extra-wide, dedicated Blue Badge parking bays. The shuttle buses connecting the Park & Ride compounds to the terminals are fully wheelchair-accessible, with lowering suspension and deployment ramps. The Pod Parking system at Terminal 5 is also fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Special Assistance points are located throughout all terminals and car parks. These desks provide immediate help for travellers requiring mobility support, wheelchair assistance, or hidden disability lanyards (the Sunflower lanyard) to ensure a smooth journey through the airport.
The airside retail experience at Heathrow is internationally renowned. You can browse extensive luxury retail boutiques, including Chanel, Gucci, and Harrods. When you are ready to dine, options range from high-end culinary experiences such as Gordon Ramsay Plane Food in Terminal 5, to quick grab-and-go choices at Pret A Manger, or casual pub classics at Wetherspoons.
You do not need to fly first class to enjoy VIP treatment. Heathrow features several independent lounges, including Club Aspire, Plaza Premium, and the No1 Lounge. You can pre-book entry to these lounges regardless of your airline class, giving you access to complimentary hot food, fully stocked bars, and quiet relaxation zones away from the busy concourse.
Heathrow offers comprehensive baggage services. You can use specialised baggage wrapping services in the check-in halls to protect your luggage during transit. If you have a long layover, the Excess Baggage Company provides secure luggage storage facilities, allowing you to explore the airport or travel into London without your bags.
If you need to transfer between terminals, Heathrow provides free inter-terminal transport. You can use the Heathrow Express trains or the London Underground to travel between the central terminals (Terminals 2 and 3) and the perimeter terminals (Terminals 4 and 5) completely free of charge, provided you follow the specific tap-in guidelines with your contactless or Oyster card.
