About Official Terminal Parking and Priority Terminal Parking
Terminal Parking is the new name for Heathrow's Short Stay car parks. They sit beside Terminals 2, 3 and 5, a short walk from check-in, and you keep your keys. Road signs may still say Short Stay while Heathrow rolls out the change.
Heathrow renamed its Short Stay car parks as Terminal Parking. They are the closest official parking to Terminals 2, 3 and 5. At Terminal 5, Heathrow describes a two-minute walk to the terminal building along covered walkways. You park your own car and keep your keys.
Priority Terminal Parking is the premium version on our sheet, priced well above standard Terminal Parking. Heathrow's Terminal 5 page does not describe it separately, so check what your booking includes at checkout.
Terminal Parking is also where pick-ups happen, because Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on its forecourts. Official Meet & Greet hands over in these car parks too. The Terminal 4 multi-storey closed on 23 June 2026, so Terminal 4 passengers now use the Terminal 4 Park & Ride.
Location and getting there
Heathrow sits between the M4 and the M25, west of London, and inside the ULEZ. Follow the signs for your terminal, then Terminal Parking or Short Stay. Postcodes: T2 TW6 1EW, T3 TW6 1QG, T5 TW6 2GA.
The walk is short, so most of your time goes on the drive and finding a space.

Eight days at the drive-up rate would cost several times the pre-booked price. Book ahead for anything longer than a few hours.

What happened at Terminal 4
Heathrow closed the Terminal 4 multi-storey on 23 June 2026, ending Terminal Parking and official Meet & Greet there. For Terminal 4, book the Terminal 4 Park & Ride, which is free for up to two hours in Zone A for pick-ups.
ULEZ and your car
Heathrow sits inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone. Non-compliant vehicles pay £12.50 for each day they are driven in the zone. For this car park, Heathrow says you pay for the days you arrive in the car park in a non-compliant vehicle, normally the days you drive in and out.
Before you travel
A few minutes of preparation makes the day smoother at Terminal Parking. At Terminal Parking, check the height of your vehicle and the terminal on your booking.
Keep your confirmation handy at the barrier.
Photograph the level or row sign when you park.
Nothing to hand over, so keep them safe on your trip.

Arriving at Official Terminal Parking and Priority Terminal Parking
Follow the directions in your booking confirmation to reach Official Terminal Parking and Priority Terminal Parking. The steps below show how the day works.
- Follow the signs for your terminal, then Terminal Parking (still signed Short Stay in places).
- Take a ticket or enter on your booking details.
- Park, note your level and keep your keys.
- Walk to the terminal, about two minutes at T5.
Collecting your car on return
Keep your booking confirmation on your phone for the trip home. Coming back takes a few simple steps.
- Follow the Terminal Parking signs from arrivals.
- Walk to your level and bay.
- Pay any extra time and drive out.
