Three products sit below £5 a day on our sample dates, which is rare at a major UK airport. The official car parks by the terminal cost more than twice as much, and the drive-up rates are higher again, as our price guide below shows.

Official car parks at Glasgow

Glasgow Airport runs Long Stay, Mid Stay, the Terminal Multi-Storey, Priority Parking and Valet. It says all its car parks have CCTV, regular security patrols and 24-hour security.

Long Stay

The budget option on Arran Avenue. Free electric shuttle, or walk in under eight minutes.

Mid Stay

A new surface car park on Sanderling Road, with a five-minute covered walk.

Terminal Multi-Storey

Car Park 2, directly opposite the terminal, a two to three-minute covered walk.

Priority Parking

Floor 2 of Car Park 2, with security fast track for up to five people.

Valet

A new Valet Hub with self-service check-in, for stays of seven days or more.

Express Drop-off

The paid forecourt zone for quick drop-offs.

You keep your keys in every official car park except Valet. The airport sells Mid Stay and Valet by pre-booking only, so book before you set off. We have not found a Park Mark record for Glasgow's car parks, so we rely on the airport's own security statement. Our Glasgow parking with EV charging page compares the car parks with charging points.

Long Stay and its electric shuttle

Official Long Stay is the cheapest car park run by the airport, with a free electric shuttle every 10 to 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. The bus takes less than five minutes, or you can walk it in under eight.

10–15 minbetween buses
Under 5 minon the bus
Under 8 minon foot

That shuttle-or-walk choice is unusual. Edinburgh's official Long Stay has no shuttle at all, and many airports put their long stay car parks miles out. At Glasgow you can walk in on a dry day with light bags, and take the bus home when you land tired.

Long Stay is also the free pick-up area, covered below. Read the Official Long Stay page for the full picture, or compare it with the off-airport options on our Glasgow Airport long stay parking page.

Mid Stay, the multi-storey and Priority

Mid Stay is a five-minute covered walk away. The Terminal Multi-Storey is directly opposite the terminal, and Priority Parking takes its second floor. All three let you keep your keys.

Mid Stay costs about £28 less than the multi-storey over eight days on our sample dates, for a walk that is only a few minutes longer. The multi-storey and Priority suit short trips, early flights and anyone who wants the shortest walk. Check your vehicle height first: the airport's FAQ quotes two different figures for Car Park 2. Our Glasgow short stay parking page covers all three in detail.

Off-airport park and ride

Four off-airport park and ride sites serve Glasgow: Scot Park, Skyport, Direct Parking and Flying Scot. All sit in Paisley or Linwood, within a few minutes of the terminal.

Scot Park

9 Clark Street, Paisley, 1.4 miles away. The cheapest price we compare anywhere.

Skyport

Linwood. The listing describes an on-demand bus of about six minutes.

Direct Parking

West March Road, Paisley. A 24-hour shuttle of about three minutes.

Flying Scot

Well Street, Paisley. A 24-hour shuttle of about five minutes.

All four take your keys, so staff can move cars around the site. The shuttle timings above are the operators' or resellers' figures, and we have not timed them ourselves. Only Scot Park has its own guide on our site so far. See the Scot Park page, or compare every site on our Glasgow Airport park and ride page.

Valet and meet and greet

Glasgow has two handover services: the airport's own Valet and Scot Park Meet & Greet. On our sample dates both cost less than parking yourself in the multi-storey.

Official Valet

A new Valet Hub opened in December 2025, with a photo booth, self-service kiosks, a key drop box and key lockers on return. Minimum stay seven days.

Scot Park Meet & Greet

A driver takes your car at the terminal and stores it in Paisley. No minimum stay stated, and cheaper than the official Valet on our dates.

That price order is unusual. At many airports, handing over your keys costs more than parking beside the terminal. At Glasgow it costs less. See the Official Valet page and our Glasgow meet and greet parking page.

Dropping off and picking up

Express Drop-off costs £7 for up to 15 minutes, then £1 a minute. The airport lists £50 for stays past 30 minutes, so use a car park for anything but a quick stop.

Time in Express Drop-offCharge
Up to 15 minutes£7
Each minute after£1
After 30 minutes£50
The free hour in Long Stay

The airport lets you leave your car in Long Stay free for up to an hour. Wait there, or ride the free shuttle to meet your passenger at the terminal. It is one of the most generous free pick-up windows in the UK.

You pay at the exit barrier by card or contactless. Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes free in the Terminal Multi-Storey, and coaches drop off in Zone C. Full details are in our Glasgow Airport drop-off and pick-up guide.

The cheapest way to park at Glasgow

Scot Park, Skyport and Direct Parking are the three cheapest products we bring you at Glasgow. The official Long Stay is the cheapest option where you keep your keys.

Car parkPer dayGetting to the terminalKeys

Skyport Park & Ride£4.64On-demand busLeft with staff
Direct Parking£4.9024-hour shuttleLeft with staff
Official Long Stay£5.07Electric shuttle or walkYou keep them

The gap between these four is small over a week, a few pounds in total. Choose on the transfer and the key policy rather than the last pound. For a family with lots of luggage, Scot Park Meet & Greet costs only a little more and removes the shuttle altogether.

Two habits still lower the price: book early and never turn up without a booking.

Price guide and turn-up charges

Turning up without a booking costs far more than pre-booking at Glasgow. Eight days at the reported drive-up rate comes to £155 in Long Stay and £445 in the Terminal Multi-Storey.

Glasgow Airport parking savings

Drive-up tariffs as reported by UKAir (checked 15 June 2026), not taken from the airport's own site. The eight-day totals are our sums. Check the airport before relying on them.

The pre-booked prices in our table sit far below both totals. The gap grows with every extra day, so a longer trip makes pre-booking even more worthwhile. The exact saving on each product is on our Glasgow parking discount codes page.

Electric vehicle parking

We have found no charging points listed for Glasgow Airport's own car parks. Public chargers sit at the fuel forecourt on White Cart Road, beside the airport.

Charging listings such as Zapmap and PlugShare show chargers at the forecourt on White Cart Road, postcode PA3 2TB. Top up there on the way in or out, and arrive with enough range for the drive home. We will add airport charging details as soon as the airport publishes them.

Which car parks let you keep your keys

You keep your keys at Long Stay, Mid Stay, the Terminal Multi-Storey and Priority Parking. The off-airport park and ride sites and both valet services take them.

Key-drop sites hold your keys so staff can move cars within a busy compound. Remove house keys from the ring before you hand it over.

Getting to Glasgow Airport by car

Glasgow Airport sits beside the M8 at Junction 28, about seven miles west of the city centre. Use the postcode in your booking confirmation, because each car park has its own entrance.

M8 Junction 28

The airport sits beside the M8, west of Glasgow city centre.

PA3 2ST / PA3 2AY

Short Stay and Fast Track use PA3 2ST, Long Stay uses PA3 2AY.

Allow extra time

The M8 through Glasgow is busy at peak hours.

From Edinburgh and the east, follow the M8 west through Glasgow. From Ayrshire and the south-west, join the M8 via the M77 or the A737. The off-airport sites sit in Paisley and Linwood, so follow their own directions rather than the airport signs. Allow extra time for the M8 through the city at peak hours.

Choosing the right car park for your trip

Match the car park to your trip length, your luggage and whether you want to keep your keys. At Glasgow, those three choices decide most of the price.

Security at Glasgow's car parks

Glasgow Airport says its car parks are monitored by CCTV, with regular security patrols and 24-hour security. The off-airport operators each describe their own measures.

Official car parks

CCTV, patrols and 24-hour security, per the airport.

Scot Park

A fenced, floodlit, CCTV-monitored compound, per the operator.

Flying Scot

CCTV, electric fencing, floodlights and 24/7 staff, per the operator.

Valet

A photo booth records your car's condition on arrival.

We have not independently verified the operators' own claims, and we have not found a Park Mark record for Glasgow's official car parks, so we do not claim one. Whichever you choose, take valuables with you and leave nothing on show.
