Mid Stay costs about £28 less than the multi-storey over eight days on our sample dates. Priority adds a dedicated floor and security fast track on top of the multi-storey.

The Terminal Multi-Storey is Car Park 2, directly opposite the terminal, with a two to three-minute covered walk. It has over 500 spaces, and you keep your keys.

The airport's FAQ gives Car Park 2's height limit as 7ft 2in but also quotes 202cm, and the two figures do not match. Vehicles over 2 metres should check with the airport before booking.

Priority Parking and included security fast track
Priority Parking sits on Floor 2 of Car Park 2 and includes priority security for up to five people per car. The walk to the terminal is one to two minutes, undercover.
What you get
The closest spaces at Glasgow, undercover access to the terminal, and security fast track bundled into the price.
Who it suits
Families and groups on busy mornings, when the security queue is the slowest part of the trip.
The airport also calls this product Fast Track Flex Plus. For a party of four or five, the fast track can save more time than the parking itself. Travel together, because the entries are tied to the car's booking.
Mid Stay on Sanderling Road
Mid Stay is a new surface car park on Sanderling Road, a five-minute covered walk from the terminal. It is pre-book only, and you keep your keys.
The airport positions Mid Stay for weekends and holidays. It sits between Long Stay and the multi-storey on price. The walk is covered, so you arrive dry, and there is no bus to wait for. See the Mid Stay guide.
The drive-up tariff
The Terminal Multi-Storey's reported drive-up rate starts at £8 for up to 20 minutes and reaches £60 for a full day. Each extra day costs £55.

Pre-booking brings the daily cost down sharply. Over eight days, the drive-up total would pass £440, several times the pre-booked price.
When short stay is worth the price
Short stay earns its price on a trip of a day or two. For a week away, Mid Stay or Long Stay cost far less.
A business day trip, a weekend away or a late return with heavy bags are the classic cases. For a fortnight, look at Glasgow long stay options instead.
Short stay for pick-ups
The airport suggests the Terminal Multi-Storey for meeting passengers, with free Wi-Fi and flight information while you wait. Long Stay is free for up to an hour.

Short stay for business trips
For a day trip or an overnight meeting, the multi-storey saves time at both ends. Over one or two days, the gap to the budget car parks is a small sum.
A return business trip often means an early departure and a late flight home. A two-minute covered walk to the car at night is worth more than the few pounds a shuttle car park would save over a single day. With Priority, the security fast track also cuts the morning queue.
Book the exact hours you need. The drive-up tariff jumps at each band, so an accurate return time keeps the cost down.
Short stay against valet
For a week or more, the official Valet costs less than the multi-storey on our sample dates. For a shorter trip, valet is not an option.
The airport's Valet has a seven-day minimum stay. That leaves the multi-storey, Priority and Mid Stay as the only official choices for a short trip. For a week away, compare the Official Valet, which gives you a similar covered walk for less.

Leave the M8 at Junction 28 and follow the signs for the terminal, then Car Park 2. The sat-nav address is St Andrew's Drive, Paisley PA3 2ST.
The airport sits beside the M8, west of Glasgow city centre.
Short Stay and Fast Track use PA3 2ST, Long Stay uses PA3 2AY.
The M8 through Glasgow is busy at peak hours.
Do not follow the Express Drop-off signs, which lead to the paid drop-off zone. Mid Stay has its own signs to Sanderling Road.
