Every option ends with a short walk to check-in. The differences are the meeting point, the terminals served, the hours and the extras such as EV charging.
How meet and greet works at Heathrow
You drive to your terminal, hand the car to a driver and walk to check-in. The driver parks it at a compound and brings it back when you land.
- Call ahead. Most operators ask for a call about 30 minutes before you arrive.
- Drive to the meeting point. Usually Level 4 of the Terminal Parking car park, in rows marked for off-airport meet and greet.
- Hand over. Check the car with the driver and hand over the key.
- Collect on return. Call when you land and meet the driver at the same place.

Heathrow's official Meet & Greet and Valet
Heathrow runs its own Meet & Greet at Terminals 2, 3 and 5, and a Valet service with forecourt handover.
Official Meet & Greet
Reception in the Terminal Parking car park. Cars are kept at a secure on-airport site. Desk hours run 05:00 to 22:30 for final collections.
Official Valet
Handover on a dedicated part of the forecourt, with the drop-off charge covered. Your car comes back to reserved spaces in Terminal Parking. Advance booking only.

Meet and greet at Terminal 4
Heathrow's own Meet & Greet no longer runs at Terminal 4. Park Giant now meets Terminal 4 customers at the Terminal 4 Park & Ride.
Heathrow closed the Terminal 4 multi-storey on 23 June 2026, and older meeting points in that car park no longer apply. Use the Terminal 4 instructions in your latest booking confirmation.

Meet and greet with EV charging
Heathrow's own car parks have no EV charging, so an operator product is the way to come back to a charged car.

Extra fees to check
Several operators charge extra for handovers outside their hours, for tall or long vehicles, or for flight changes.
Edward Lloyd and Terminals Parking list £40 outside their hours.
APH and MBW list a fee over 2.2m.
Tell the operator as early as you can.
Maple includes the airport access fee in its price.
Read the extras in your confirmation before the day, so nothing surprises you at the handover.
Meet and greet and the ULEZ
Heathrow sits inside London's ULEZ, and meet and greet cars are driven by someone else.
Heathrow says charges for its Meet & Greet and Valet apply when you arrive or leave, and could also apply when cars move between storage sites and terminals. APH and Terminals Parking charge for the departure and return days. Check your car on Transport for London's checker before you book.

Heathrow says its Meet & Greet cars are kept at a secure on-airport site with round-the-clock patrols. Off-airport operators describe their own compounds.
Heathrow describes round-the-clock patrols, automated barriers and bright lighting across its own car parks. We have not found a Park Mark statement for Heathrow's own car parks, so we do not claim one. The off-airport operators describe their own security, and we report what each says rather than claiming an award on their behalf.
