Gatwick runs six parking products at the North Terminal: Short Stay, Premium Short Stay, Mid Stay, Premium Mid Stay, Long Stay and Valet. Official prices are the same at North and South, apart from Premium Mid Stay, which only North offers.

Meet and greet meeting points at North
At the North Terminal most meet and greet firms meet you on the ground floor of Car Park 5 or in the Approved Operator bays by the drop-off area. A few use a hotel car park instead, so check your confirmation before you set off.

Park and ride to the North Terminal
Every off-airport park and ride we compare at Gatwick runs its shuttle to both terminals, so you pay the same price for North as for South.
AVPS is at Lingfield, 10 to 15 minutes away by shuttle. Cophall is at Copthorne and runs transfers 24 hours a day. APH and Airparks share a site on Copthorne Road, RH10 3PD, with a shuttle of about 10 to 12 minutes.
On the way home from the North Terminal, APH picks up from bus stop 6. The other operators give their pick-up point in your confirmation.
Height limits at the North Terminal
Car Park 5 at North has the lowest height limit at Gatwick, 1.8 metres. That rules out many vans and cars with a roof box for Premium Short Stay and the meet and greet firms that hand over there.

For a tall vehicle, Long Stay North or Purple Parking are the simplest choices at this terminal.
Drop-off and pick-up at the North Terminal
Dropping off on the North Terminal forecourt costs £10 for the first ten minutes, the same as at South. The charge rose from £7 on 6 January 2026.
For a free drop-off, use Long Stay North. The first two hours are free, and the bus runs to the terminal. To collect someone, the express pick-up bays are on Level 4 of Car Park 6 and charge normal Short Stay rates. Our Gatwick drop-off page covers payment and Blue Badge rules.
Getting between North and South
A free shuttle train links the North and South Terminals, running every few minutes in both directions.
The ride takes a couple of minutes, so a car park at the other terminal still works when prices or height limits suit you better. Long Stay is the exception, because each Long Stay bus only serves its own terminal. Your airline decides which terminal you use, so check your booking before you choose. The Sofitel is the hotel joined to the North Terminal by a covered walkway.
