About Meteor Meet & Greet
Meteor Meet and Greet meets you at the terminal and takes your car to a secured car park in Hookwood, next to the airport.
Meteor meets you at your terminal. At North, the driver waits in the Approved Operator area. At South, the handover is in the drop-off area. Call Meteor about 15 minutes before you arrive so the driver is ready.
Your car goes to Meteor's secured car park by the Travelodge on Povey Cross Road, Hookwood, postcode RH6 0BE. Meteor describes 24-hour CCTV, electric barriers and security patrols there.
On return, call Meteor on the same number after collecting your luggage, and the driver brings the car to you outside the terminal. Meteor asks you to display a copy of your booking confirmation on the dashboard.
Location and getting there
Gatwick sits beside the M23, with a spur road from Junction 9 to both terminals. Follow the signs for your terminal, then the Approved Operator area at North or the drop-off area at South.
Check with Meteor how the forecourt charge is handled at South, where the handover is in the drop-off area.

How the handover works
- Call ahead. Ring Meteor about 15 minutes before you reach Gatwick.
- Drive to the meeting point. Follow the signs for your terminal, then the directions in your confirmation.
- Hand over. A driver checks the car with you and takes the keys.
- Walk in. Head to check-in, a few minutes away.
- Call on return. Ring once you have your bags. The driver meets you with the car.

A few minutes of preparation makes the day smoother at Meteor. With Meteor, print or save your booking confirmation, because you need to display a copy on the dashboard.

The dashboard confirmation
Meteor asks for a copy of your booking confirmation on the dashboard. It helps staff match your car to your booking at the compound. Print it before you leave home, or keep a spare copy in the glovebox.
Meteor against the official Valet
Both mean no bus and a short walk to check-in. The official Valet keeps your car on the airport and sells extras such as a hand wash or an EV charge. An off-airport service costs less and stores the car nearby.
