About Official Mid Stay and Premium Mid Stay
Mid Stay is Gatwick's walk-in car park for trips of a few days, sold at both terminals. Premium Mid Stay, at the North Terminal only, cuts the walk to two minutes on the same level as check-in.
Mid Stay is an official Gatwick car park with a six-minute walk to the terminal and no bus. Gatwick now sells it at both terminals. The North site, postcode RH6 0JA, has a covered walk. The South site uses RH6 0NY.
Premium Mid Stay is the upgrade at the North Terminal. It sits on the same level as the terminal building, with direct, covered access and a two-minute walk. Gatwick calls it the closest parking to the North Terminal.
Both are free-flow car parks. Cameras read your number plate, so there is no ticket to keep. You keep your keys, and you must book in advance, because neither tier sells spaces at the barrier. Gatwick prices both dynamically, so rates move with demand.
Location and getting there
Gatwick sits beside the M23, with a spur road from Junction 9 to both terminals. Follow the signs for your terminal, then Mid Stay, using the postcode in your confirmation.
There is no bus to build into your plans, only the walk. Allow a little more with children or heavy cases.

The walk to the terminal
From North Mid Stay the walk is covered, which helps in bad weather. The South walk takes the same six minutes. With heavy bags the walk is manageable, and there is no stop to stand at waiting for a bus. The total time from parking to check-in is often shorter than from Long Stay.
