Purple Parking Gatwick is an off-airport Park & Ride at Charlwood Road, Lowfield Heath, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 0QB, about 3 miles from the terminals. Enter the full address rather than just the postcode, as some sat-navs struggle to find it. Leave the M23 at Junction 9 (or 10), follow signs for the airport and the A23 towards Crawley/Redhill, then Lowfield Heath/Charlwood onto Charlwood Road; the car park is about a mile and a half along on the right.
On arrival, park in the arrival bays and note your bay number, take your keys and booking to reception, drop your keys in the red box and collect a ticket. A free transfer runs every 20 minutes and takes 10 to 15 minutes to both terminals (show your ticket to board). On your return, catch the free bus back and collect your keys from reception.
Dropping off your car
- Drive to the Purple Parking car park and park in the arrival area.
- Check in at reception with your booking and keys.
- Take the free transfer bus to your terminal (return included).
Returning to your car
- After you land, head to the Purple Parking shuttle stop outside your terminal.
- Take the bus back to the car park.
- Collect your keys and drive home.
