About Purple Parking Meet & Greet
Purple Parking Meet and Greet at Gatwick is a valet-style service with no transfer bus. You meet your driver in an approved operator area a short walk from your terminal, and the car goes to a secure compound.
Purple Parking runs its Gatwick meet and greet from approved operator areas close to each terminal. At the North Terminal, you meet your driver in the Hampton by Hilton car park. At the South Terminal, the meeting point is the Approved Operator area in Short Stay.
From either point, the terminal is a 2 to 5-minute walk. Your car goes to a secured compound with fencing, manned 24 hours a day, up to 6 miles from the airport. On return you call Purple Parking, and a driver meets you with the car.
Purple Parking takes cars that fit a standard 2.4 by 4.8 metre bay and vehicles with fewer than 8 seats. There is no height limit at North, and a 2 metre limit at South.
Location and getting there
Gatwick sits beside the M23, with a spur road from Junction 9 to both terminals. At North, follow the signs for the Hampton by Hilton hotel car park. At South, follow the Short Stay signs.
Allow a few minutes for the walk from the handover to check-in, up to 5 minutes.

How the handover works
- Call ahead. Use the number in your confirmation as you approach the airport.
- Drive to the meeting point. Follow the signs for your terminal, then the directions in your confirmation.
- Hand over. A driver checks the car with you and takes the keys.
- Walk in. Head to check-in, a few minutes away.
- Call on return. Ring once you have your bags. The driver meets you with the car.

A few minutes of preparation makes the day smoother at Purple Parking. With Purple Parking, note that the North meeting point is a hotel car park, not a terminal car park.
Your confirmation has the number to call on the way in.

Vehicle rules
No limit at North, 2 metres at South.
The car must fit a standard 2.4 by 4.8 metre space.
Vehicles with 8 or more seats are not accepted.
The lack of a height limit at North makes Purple one of the few meet and greet options for a tall vehicle at that terminal.
Purple Parking against the official Valet
Both mean no bus and a short walk to check-in. The official Valet keeps your car on the airport and sells extras such as a hand wash or an EV charge. An off-airport service costs less and stores the car nearby.

- At North, drive to the Hampton by Hilton car park. At South, drive to the Short Stay Approved Operator area.
- Hand your keys to the driver.
- Walk to the terminal, 2 to 5 minutes.
