About I Love Meet & Greet
I Love Meet and Greet hands over on the terminal forecourt at Gatwick, as close to check-in as parking gets. Its Valet version adds an exterior car wash while you are away.
I Love Meet and Greet meets you on the terminal forecourt. At North, drive to the far end of the drop-off area, where a driver waits in the Approved Operator bay. At South, a driver meets you in the Approved Operator lane at the far end of the drop-off area. There is no transfer to catch.
Call around 10 minutes before you reach the airport. After the handover, your car is securely relocated to the operator's site, which it describes as well lit, fenced, barrier controlled and covered by CCTV, with staff on site.
I Love Valet is the same service with a car wash. While you are away, your car receives an exterior wash and dressed tyres. It does not include interior cleaning. I Love also delivers APH's forecourt meet and greet, according to APH.
Location and getting there
Gatwick sits beside the M23, with a spur road from Junction 9 to both terminals. Follow the signs for your terminal and the drop-off area, then drive to the far end.
The forecourt handover puts you steps from check-in, so the handover is the only step to allow for.

The M23 and M25 are busy at peak hours and bank holidays.

I Love describes a well-lit site with perimeter fencing, barrier control, CCTV and a constant on-site staff presence. We have not independently verified these measures or any accreditation, so we report the operator's own description. Take valuables and spare keys with you, and photograph the car at handover.

What I Love Valet includes
Your car is washed outside while you are away.
The tyres are cleaned and dressed.
Inside the car is left as you handed it over.

How the handover works
- Call ahead. Ring I Love around 10 minutes before you reach the airport.
- Drive to the meeting point. Follow the signs for your terminal, then the directions in your confirmation.
- Hand over. A driver checks the car with you and takes the keys.
- Walk in. Head to check-in, a few minutes away.
- Call on return. Ring once you have your bags. The driver meets you with the car.

A few minutes of preparation makes the day smoother at I Love Meet and Greet. With I Love, head for the far end of the forecourt drop-off area, where the Approved Operator bays sit.
Your confirmation has the number to call on the way in.
Have them ready for the driver.
Remove house keys and key rings before handing it over.
Take valuables and anything you need for the trip.

Vehicle rules
I Love accepts standard-sized vehicles, including cars and minibuses with up to 9 seats. Taxis are not permitted under any circumstances. That makes it one of the better meet and greet choices for a family with a people carrier.
Arriving at I Love Meet & Greet
Follow the directions in your booking confirmation to reach I Love Meet & Greet. The steps below show how the day works.
- Call I Love around 10 minutes before you arrive.
- Drive to the far end of your terminal's forecourt drop-off area.
- Meet the driver in the Approved Operator bay or lane and hand over your keys.
- Walk straight into check-in.
Collecting your car on return
Keep your booking confirmation on your phone for the trip home. Coming back takes a few simple steps.
- Collect your bags.
- Call I Love on the number in your confirmation.
- Meet the driver at the forecourt meeting point and drive home.
