Park and ride and meet and greet fill most of the cheap half of the table. The official car parks by the terminals fill the top.
The three cheapest options
AVPS, LG Parking and Cophall are the three cheapest products we bring you at Gatwick. One is a meet and greet, which surprises many drivers.
Near Lingfield. Keys left with staff. The operator quotes a 10–15 minute transfer.
Handover in Short Stay. Pre-paid exit ticket included.
In Copthorne. 24-hour shuttle, closed Christmas Day.
All three take your keys. Keeping them costs more at Gatwick. The cheapest car park where you hold on to your keys is the official Long Stay, a few pounds further up the table.
The cheapest official car parks
Long Stay is the cheapest official car park, followed by Mid Stay and Valet. Short Stay and the two Premium products cost far more over a week.

Official prices on the day run far higher than pre-booked. Eight days in Long Stay at the drive-up rate comes to £262.
Cheap meet and greet at Gatwick
LG Parking and AMAG both cost less than the official Long Stay on our sample dates. Meet and greet does not have to be the premium choice at Gatwick.
That surprises many drivers. At many airports, meet and greet is the premium choice. At Gatwick, the crowded field keeps prices keen. The spread inside each type is small next to the spread between types. Choosing the right type saves more than hunting for the cheapest firm within it.
Cheap parking at North and South
Official prices match at both terminals for Short Stay, Long Stay and Valet, and the off-airport operators serve both at one price.
Your terminal changes the postcode and the meeting point, not the budget. Two exceptions stand out. Premium Mid Stay is sold at North only, and the £25 evening deal in Short Stay runs at South only. Check your terminal first, then book the cheapest option that serves it.
Cheap parking for vans and electric cars
Vans, roof boxes and electric cars narrow the cheap options at Gatwick. Check the vehicle rules before you book the lowest price.
The official Long Stay has no height limit, which makes it the budget pick for a tall van or a roof box. AVPS says it takes larger vehicles such as work vans and minibuses for an extra fee. Several meet and greet firms refuse long-wheelbase vans outright.
For an electric car, the cheapest option that also charges it is APH Park & Ride with EV Charging. It costs more than the standard product, but you drive home on a full battery.

Cheapest is not the same as best value
A few pounds more can buy a shorter transfer, your keys or a car kept on the airport. Decide what matters before you pick the lowest number.
With children and cases, meet and greet at LG's price beats a shuttle for most families. With a keyless car, the official Long Stay's key policy may be worth its small premium. For an electric car, APH's charging product costs more but hands your car back full.
