The gap between booking and turning up
Eight days on a turn-up tariff costs several times the pre-booked price.
At Car Park 5, eight turn-up days cost over £500. The same eight days pre-booked with our code cost a fraction of that. The airport's own figure is a saving of up to 70% for booking ahead, before our code.
Drop-off and set-down charges
The Drop Off Car Park is free for 10 minutes; Premium Set Down starts at £8.
Both rose by £1 on 6 August 2026 and are barrierless, payable within 24 hours. Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes free at Premium Set Down when validated. See our Birmingham drop-off guide.
What the price includes
A pre-booked price covers the space and, where offered, the transfer.
The airport's buses from Car Parks 4, 5 and 7 are free. Off-airport transfers are included in the booking, though resellers say Green Oaks excludes airport access fees. Meet and greet prices include the handover. Overstays and extras are charged separately.

When prices are highest
School holidays and summer weekends cost most.
Prices move with demand, so the same car park can cost noticeably more for a July week than a November one. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
Prices by type of parking
At Birmingham, price follows distance from the terminal.

Meet and greet sits across the range: Car Park 7 at the bottom, the Valet in the middle and Maple at the top.
Overstay charges
Late returns are charged differently by each operator.
The airport's car parks charge any extra at their turn-up rates. APH says Drop & Go charges £20 a day after a discretionary grace period to midnight. Amend the booking before you travel when dates change, rather than paying overstay rates.
Airport fees at off-airport sites
Check whether any airport access fee applies.
Resellers say Green Oaks' price excludes airport access fees. Other operators include the transfer in the price. The confirmation says what, if anything, is due on the day.

Pre-booked prices are set when you book, so booking early locks in the rate. Turn-up tariffs and drop-off charges are set by the airport and change from time to time; check the latest figures before you travel.

Paying at the car park
The airport's pay machines are cashless.
Turn-up drivers pay by card at the machines or the exit lane. Pre-booked stays open the barrier from your number plate, and any overstay is paid on the way out. Keep a card to hand.
Blue Badge concessions
Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes free in several car parks and at Premium Set Down.
Validate the badge at the NCP Customer Service Cabin in the Premium Set Down car park before leaving. The concession covers short visits; longer stays are charged at the normal rates.
