About APH

APH (Airport Parking & Hotels) is a family-run business founded in 1980 and one of the UK's longest-established independent airport parking operators. It owns and runs its own car parks at Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham, and books vetted car parks at airports across the UK, serving over 300,000 customers a year. Off-airport rates are typically 10 to 15% cheaper than parking on-airport.

APH is a Which? Recommended Provider and a repeat winner of Best Airport Parking Company at the British Travel Awards. Sites are barrier-controlled with 24/7 CCTV and on-site staff, and many hold the Park Mark Safer Parking award.

Location & directions

Address: Hams Hall, Nr Lea Marston, Coleshill, Warwickshire B46 1AL

Leave the M42 at Junction 9 and take the A446 signposted Coleshill. At the Hams Hall roundabout, take the first exit onto Faraday Avenue (the one in Lea Marston, not Quinton). Continue to the next roundabout, take the first exit, and the car park is on the right.

Allow enough time to check in and transfer to the terminal.

Dropping off your car

  1. Park and head to reception with your confirmation or booking reference, car registration, return flight details and keys.
  2. Reception takes your keys to park your car for you.
  3. You are given a number to call when you return to arrange your shuttle.
  4. Take the bus to the terminal (every 10 to 15 minutes, around a 15 to 20 minute ride).

Returning to your car

  1. When you land, call the number on the card you were given at check-in to arrange collection.
  2. Catch the bus back to the car park.
  3. Collect your keys from reception and head home.

Security & facilities

APH Birmingham is secured with entry and exit barriers, CCTV and 24-hour staff and security patrols.

Facilities typically include reception with toilets and baby-changing, free WiFi, uniformed staff and assisted loading on request.

Accessibility

APH offers wheelchair-accessible shuttle buses and staff help with luggage. There is a help button at the barrier, and you can ask at check-in to have your car parked near reception for easier access on return.

Good to know

Standard cars that fit a 2.4m x 4.8m bay and are driven on a standard UK licence are accepted (no trailers or commercial vehicles). Bikes and surfboards cannot travel on the shuttle. Allow at least 45 minutes from check-in to reaching the terminal, and more at peak times. Some sat-navs struggle with the postcode, so enter the full address (Lea Marston Faraday Avenue, not Faraday Avenue in Quinton). APH also runs Drop & Go, Self Park, Short Run and Express options at Birmingham.
