APH sells four products at Birmingham, and the choice comes down to how close you want to be and whether you keep your keys. Self Park and Drop & Go share a site at Garretts Green, about 14 minutes by bus. Short Run at Bickenhill is five minutes out. Express, at the NEC West Car Park, is three minutes away and the dearest of the four.

APH Self Park and APH Drop & Go both operate from 100 Mackadown Lane, B33 0JD, an Airparks site. Self Park lets you park yourself and keep your keys, with a bus of about 14 minutes every 25 minutes. Drop & Go takes your keys at reception, with a bus every 30 minutes, and offers a discretionary grace period to midnight before a £20 daily charge.

APH Short Run is at Bickenhill Parkway, B40 1QB, next to the Premier Inn, operated by Airparks on APH's behalf. The bus takes about five minutes and runs 24/7, and APH says you keep your keys. To reserve a Blue Badge space, contact the car park at least 24 hours before arrival.

APH Express is at the NEC West Car Park, Bickenhill Lane, B37 7BQ. It is a self-park with an on-demand bus of about three minutes, running 24/7 every 15 to 25 minutes, and 24-hour staffing.

Birmingham Airport sits beside the NEC, east of the city, reached from Junction 6 of the M42 and the A45. Your confirmation names the site: Garretts Green, Bickenhill, or the NEC West Car Park.

Vehicle limits

Vehicles must be under 2.1 metres high and fit a bay 2 metres wide and 5 metres long; high-sided vehicles, minibuses, motorhomes, lorries, caravans and trailers are not accepted. Express and Self Park also accept only non-commercial vehicles with fewer than eight seats. Cars with taxi plates can park at Short Run but cannot use its meet and greet or return greet services.
