Official Long Stay: an overview
Long Stay is the airport's own car park for holidays. You park yourself, keep your keys and take a free bus that runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. It is pre-book only, with a minimum stay, and on our sample dates it costs only a little more than JetParks.
Long Stay sits at postcode CM24 1SF. The airport says free shuttle buses run every 15 minutes, day and night, and describes the ride as just a few minutes. You keep your keys and park in any space.
It is pre-book only, with a minimum stay of five days, subject to availability. The airport says Long Stay has been awarded the Park Mark.
For stays of a week or more, JetParks is the airport's lower-priced alternative, with a seven-day minimum. For a trip of five or six days, Long Stay is the cheapest official product you can book.

Keeping it secure

Which minimum suits your trip
The airport's two holiday car parks are split by minimum stay. Long Stay's is shorter than JetParks' week. A five- or six-day trip can only use Long Stay; a week or more can use either, and JetParks is usually a little cheaper. For three or four days, Mid Stay is the official choice.
The bus
The free bus runs round the clock. On the way home, head to the nearest bus stop signed for Long Stay. On an early morning in summer, allow a few extra minutes for queues at the stop.
Late flights home
The airport's terms allow up to six hours beyond your booked exit time without charge. Beyond that, Long Stay overstays are charged at a daily rate, so contact us or amend your booking when your return date changes.
No turn-up option
Long Stay is pre-book only. Arriving without a booking means using Mid Stay or Short Stay at their turn-up rates, which cost far more for a trip.
