APH Meet & Greet Stansted: an overview

APH Meet & Greet hands your car over at the kerb, in the Express Set Down area next to the terminal, about two minutes from check-in. The airport's access fees are included. It is among the dearest products at Stansted on our sample dates, so this page sets out exactly what you get for the premium over the airport's own service.

You call APH about ten minutes before arrival, drive to Zone C of the Express Set Down area and hand your keys to the waiting staff. Check-in is a walk of about two minutes.

APH says the car goes to a secure compound operated by I Love Meet & Greet, with barrier-controlled entry, floodlighting, CCTV, patrols and 24-hour staffing. The price includes professional parking, insurance and the airport access fees.

On return, you call after clearing customs and the car is brought back to the same spot. APH says you then have ten minutes to exit before extra charges apply. Only standard cars and vans that fit a normal space are accepted.

The premium over the airport's service

APH costs well over half as much again as the airport's official Meet & Greet. The main differences are where you hand over and what is included. APH meets you at the kerb in the Express Set Down, with the access fees covered; the official service asks you to drive into its own car park beside the terminal, then walk two minutes.

For most travellers the official service is the better value. APH suits those who prefer the APH brand, want a kerbside handover with the fees wrapped in, or find the official product sold out.

Who looks after the car

The ten-minute exit

On return, APH says you have ten minutes to leave the set-down area before extra charges apply. Have bags ready and the car's paperwork to hand, and the handover is quick.

Barriers and operators check number plates at Stansted, so the registration on your APH Meet & Greet booking must be the car you drive. Bookings made with us can be cancelled until 72 hours before arrival.
