Overview of Official JetParks 1 and 3
JetParks are Manchester Airport's cheapest official car parks. JetParks 3 serves both terminals with a bus every 15 minutes; JetParks 1, on Thorley Lane, serves Terminal 2 only, about five minutes by shuttle. Both need a stay of at least three days. JetParks 1 also doubles as the airport's free drop-off point.
JetParks 3 is the lowest-priced car park the airport runs on our sample dates. Its buses serve both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, every 15 minutes, day and night.
JetParks 1 sits at 1 Thorley Lane, M90 5AZ, and serves Terminal 2 exclusively, with a shuttle of about five minutes. Resellers describe its surface as gravel rather than tarmac. It is also where the airport's free drop-off operates.
At both, you park yourself and keep your keys, and there is a three-day minimum stay, so JetParks do not suit an overnight trip. The airport describes itself as an IPC accredited parking provider.
How to find it
Manchester Airport sits south of the city at Ringway, next to Junction 5 of the M56. JetParks 1 is on Thorley Lane; follow your confirmation for JetParks 3.

The free drop-off at JetParks 1
Drivers can leave a car free for up to 60 minutes at JetParks 1 while dropping someone off. The shuttle runs one way, from the car park to Terminal 2, so it does not work for collecting arrivals. A £25 fee applies after 60 minutes, or for re-entering within 30 minutes.

A note on 2026
Terminal 1 closed in March 2026, and the airport renumbered its car parks into a P1 to P16 scheme at the same time. Older guides and sat-nav entries may still use the old names. Some older guides still say JetParks serve Terminal 1.
