Overview of Official Drop & Go
Drop & Go is the airport's key-drop parking, and at Terminal 3 it replaces meet and greet. You pull into a bay, lock the car, drop your keys at a kiosk and a fully insured driver parks it. On return, a locker gives you your keys and the car waits in the returns area. Drop & Go Express (P10), opened in April 2026, is a minute's walk from Terminal 3.
The airport runs two Drop & Go sites. Drop & Go Express is signposted P10 and opened on 2 April 2026: about a minute's walk from Terminal 3, or 12 to 15 minutes from Terminal 2. Drop & Go is signposted P16: about five minutes' walk from Terminal 3, with a shuttle bus to Terminal 2. Your confirmation names the site.
The process is the same at both. Pull into a bay, lock the car and drop your keys at the kiosk. One of the airport's insured drivers parks it. When you come back, a locker releases your keys and the car is ready in the returns area.
The minimum stay is four days, vehicles must be under 2m tall and trailers are not allowed. Motorcycles can be booked by phone. From 27 March 2026, Terminal 3 Meet & Greet stopped taking new bookings, which makes Drop & Go Express the airport's Terminal 3 handover.
How to find it
Manchester Airport sits south of the city at Ringway, next to Junction 5 of the M56. Follow the Terminal 3 signs and then P10 or P16, as your confirmation directs.
The handover takes a couple of minutes at the kiosk.

The Terminal 3 handover
With Terminal 3 Meet & Greet closed to new bookings, Drop & Go Express is the airport's own way to hand over your car at Terminal 3. It uses a kiosk rather than a person. For a driver who meets you, see VIP Meet & Greet.

Manchester's car parks recognise number plates, so the registration on your Drop and Go booking must match your car. Bookings made with us can be cancelled until 72 hours before arrival.
Departure day
What happens when you arrive at Official Drop & Go.
- Follow the signs to P10 or P16.
- Pull into a bay and lock the car.
- Drop your keys at the kiosk.
- Walk to the terminal, or take the bus from P16 to Terminal 2.
Your return
Back in Manchester, getting the car is straightforward.
- Head back to your Drop & Go site.
- Collect your keys from the locker.
- Find the car in the returns area and drive home.
