Overview of Official Mid Stay
Mid Stay is Manchester's walk-in option: close enough to skip the shuttle, cheaper than the terminal multi-storeys. There are two sites. Mid Stay Multi Storey (P12), the former Terminal 1 car park, links to Terminal 2 by a covered walkway; T3 Mid Stay (P15) on Parade Road sits a short walk from Terminal 3.
Mid Stay Multi Storey is signposted P12. Before Terminal 1 closed it was that terminal's multi-storey; now it serves Terminal 2 via the covered Sky Bridge, about 10 to 15 minutes on foot per the airport. There is no minimum stay.
T3 Mid Stay is signposted P15, on Parade Road, M90 1AF. The walk to Terminal 3 takes about five to ten minutes, and there is a three-day minimum stay. Your booking confirmation says which site to use.
At both, you park and keep your keys, and number plate recognition handles the barriers. The airport notes that some heavier vehicles are currently restricted and offers an eligibility checker, so check before booking a large SUV or van.
How to find it
Manchester Airport sits south of the city at Ringway, next to Junction 5 of the M56. Follow the P12 signs for Mid Stay Multi Storey, or P15 on Parade Road for T3 Mid Stay.

What changed in 2026
Terminal 1 closed in March 2026, and the airport renumbered its car parks into a P1 to P16 scheme at the same time. Older guides and sat-nav entries may still use the old names. Mid Stay Multi Storey is the old Terminal 1 multi-storey.

Larger and heavier vehicles
The airport says some heavier vehicles are restricted at Mid Stay and provides an eligibility checker. The multi-storey car parks also carry a 2m height limit. For a tall van, look at the JetParks instead.
