Official Long Stay: the basics
Long Stay is London Luton's shuttle car park, and it does two jobs. For holidays, you park, keep your keys and ride a free bus to the terminal in around ten minutes. For drop-offs and pick-ups, it is free for up to two hours, the cheapest way to meet a flight at Luton.
The Long Stay shuttle runs 24 hours a day, and the ride takes around ten minutes depending on traffic. At the terminal, the buses use a single bay in both directions.
The car park has no height restrictions, and you keep your keys. Blue Badge bays are near bus stop 7. The minimum pre-bookable stay is 24 hours.
For anyone collecting a passenger, the first stretch is free. Waiting here and riding the bus in, or asking the passenger to ride out, avoids the charged drop-off zone by the terminal.
Where it is and how to get in
London Luton Airport sits on the south-east edge of Luton, about two miles from Junction 10 of the M1. Use LU2 9NW and follow the Long Stay signs.
Allow for parking, a wait of up to 20 minutes and a ten-minute ride.

Dropping the car off

- Enter; the barrier reads your number plate.
- Park, keep your keys and note the nearest bus stop.
- Take the free bus to the terminal.
Picking the car up
When you land, the return is quick.
- Catch the Long Stay bus at the terminal.
- Ride back to Long Stay.
- Drive out through the barrier.
