About Official EMA VIP Meet & Greet
The VIP Meet & Greet is East Midlands Airport's own valet service. You drive to the Short Stay area, hand your keys in at the Meet and Greet reception and walk to the terminal, while your car is taken to an on-site Long Stay car park.
The VIP Meet & Greet is run by the airport itself. Airport signs call it M&G. You follow the middle lane signed Short Stay and Meet and Greet, check in at the barrier, park where you are told and hand your keys in at the reception.
While you walk 1 to 2 minutes to the terminal, your car is driven to one of the airport's on-site Long Stay car parks, where it stays until you return. On your way home, you collect your keys from the same reception.
It costs less than every Short Stay car park on our sample dates. The airport also says the service suits Blue Badge holders. The main rules are a three-day minimum stay, a 2-metre height limit and no motorcycles.
Location and getting there
Leave the M1 at junction 24 from the north or 23A from the south, then follow the A453 towards the airport. As you arrive, follow the Short Stay and M&G signs rather than the terminal signs. The terminal postcode, DE74 2SA, brings you to the airport, and the signs take you to the right entrance.
The official meet and greet shares the Short Stay approach. Take the middle lane signed Short Stay and Meet and Greet, and look out for the M&G signs. The Midlands Parking lane is the far-left one, so do not follow that.

How the handover works
At the barrier, give your booking reference and name over the intercom. While you wait, cameras record your car's condition, so it can be returned to you exactly as you left it. You will then be told where to park.
- Take the middle lane. It is signed Short Stay and Meet and Greet, or M&G.
- Check in at the barrier. Give your booking reference and name over the intercom.
- Park where you are told. Unload your bags.
- Hand in your key. At the Meet and Greet reception. Keep your receipt safe.
Remove house keys and key rings before you hand your key in. The reception accepts only the car key.

Shorter stays should book Short Stay.
Taller vehicles are not accepted.

Follow the directions in your booking confirmation to reach Official EMA VIP Meet & Greet. The steps below show how the day works.
- Follow the M&G signs and take the middle lane signed Short Stay and Meet and Greet.
- At the barrier, give your booking reference and name over the intercom.
- Park where you are told and unload your bags.
- Hand your key in at the Meet and Greet reception, keep your receipt and walk 1 to 2 minutes to the terminal.
Collecting your car on return
Keep your booking confirmation on your phone for the trip home. Coming back takes a few simple steps.
- After you land, go to the Meet and Greet reception.
- Hand over your barrier ticket and collect your key.
- Staff direct you to your car.
