Midlands Parking comes in two versions. Non-flex is the lower price. Flex costs more and lets you change or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period starts.
The two meet and greet services
The official VIP Meet & Greet keeps your car on the airport site. Midlands Parking stores it in its own compound 3.9 miles away. Both hand over at Short Stay 1.

Run by the airport. Hand your keys in at the Meet and Greet reception. Your car goes to one of the on-airport Long Stay car parks.
Midlands Parking
Independent. A driver meets you in row C of Short Stay 1 and drives your car to a secure compound 3.9 miles away.

How the official meet and greet works
Take the middle lane signed Short Stay and Meet and Greet, quote your booking at the barrier and hand your keys in at reception. The terminal is then a 1 to 2-minute walk.
- Follow the M&G signs. Airport signs call meet and greet M&G. Take the middle lane for Short Stay and Meet and Greet.
- Check in at the barrier. Give your booking reference and name over the intercom. Cameras record your car's condition while you wait.
- Park where you are told. Unload your bags, then hand your keys in at the Meet and Greet reception and keep your receipt.
- Walk to the terminal. It takes 1 to 2 minutes. On return, go back to reception and hand over your barrier ticket.
The reception accepts only the car key. Remove house keys and key rings before you hand it over.

How Midlands Parking works
Call 30 minutes before you arrive, drive to Short Stay 1 in the far-left lane and meet your driver in row C. On return, call after baggage reclaim and collect your car in the same row.
- Call ahead. Ring the number in your confirmation about 30 minutes before you reach the airport.
- Keep left. Stay in the far-left lane marked Short Stay 1 and ignore the airport's meet and greet signs.
- Meet your driver in row C. It is next to the pay station. Have your confirmation and return flight details ready.
- Collect on return. Call once you have your bags. The operator says your car arrives within 15 to 20 minutes.

Charges beyond the booking price
Midlands Parking customers pay the airport £6 at drop-off and £6 at collection. Overstays cost extra with both services.

Both meet and greet services run all year, including the winter season when JetParks and Long Stay close. That makes meet and greet the best-value way to avoid a bus at East Midlands in winter.

Midlands Parking's parking period starts at 12:01am on the first day of your booked dates, whatever your arrival time. Where your car is kept
The official service moves your car to one of the airport's own Long Stay car parks. Midlands Parking drives it to a compound 3.9 miles from the handover point.

On-airport Long Stay car parks with barriers and cameras. Your car's condition is recorded by camera at the entry barrier.
Midlands Parking storage
A compound the operator describes as having 24-hour staff, CCTV, fencing, a barrier and security lighting.
Midlands Parking says your car may be driven up to 20 miles in total while in its care. We have not independently verified either operator's security claims, and we have not confirmed a Park Mark award for either.
