Where the code saves most

The 30% is worth most on the premium handovers.

The airport's own car parks

Six official products take the full 30%.

Orange, Red and Yellow Short Stay are priced live in the search when available; the code applies to them in the same way.

Off-airport products

SMG, I Love, APH, Maple, CSL, Peak and Stansted Easy all take 30% off too.

The code does not touch per-person bus charges or airport exit fees, which some operators leave for you to pay. Add those before comparing an off-airport price with an official one.

Choose first

The code keeps the order of prices the same, so choose on keys, bus and handover first.

The code for families

For a family, the code works best on the products with no per-person charges.

The airport's own car parks and the Thremhall Avenue operators list no transfer charge, so the code's saving is the whole story. At SMG, CSL and Peak, add the per-person bus charges before comparing. The airport's Meet & Greet, with the code applied, is also good value for families who want to skip the bus.

The code on meet and greet

Handovers carry the biggest savings, because they cost the most.

With the code, the airport's own Meet & Greet costs less than most off-airport handovers, and SMG Value Plus is cheaper still before exit fees. The dearer products, from I Love and APH, include extras such as a wash or the airport's fees, and the code takes the same 30% off those.

Short Stay and the code

The code applies to every Short Stay zone we can sell for your dates.

Our sample prices cover Blue and Green. Orange, Red and Yellow appear in the search when they are available. The Premium zones have no grace period for late returns, so book the right return time rather than relying on slack.

Business trips

For a day or two away, the code makes the terminal car parks affordable.

Mid Stay has no minimum stay and a short bus; Short Stay puts the car within a walk. With the code, both cost a fraction of the turn-up rates, and the saving grows with every extra day.

Adding the extras back

A fair comparison adds any per-person or exit charges to the price after the code.

The code comes off the booked price only. At SMG, CSL and Peak, add the per-person bus charges for everyone travelling. For SMG Value Plus, add the airport exit fees resellers list. The airport's own products and several operators have nothing extra to add, so their price with the code is the full cost.

Once those extras are counted, the gap between the cheapest off-airport sites and JetParks shrinks, especially for families. That is why JetParks is so often the best overall value at Stansted.

The code and EV charging

Where an EV charging booking is available, the code applies to the booking price.

The airport's terms describe one charge of at least five hours on a charger of at least 7kW, with your own cable left in the car. Check the product description at checkout for which car parks include it.

Comparing like with like

Check what each price includes before you compare.

Some products hold your keys, some need a phone call on return, and a few add charges on the day. The code takes the same share off every one, so choose on the service first and let the code do the rest.

Using the code

It is already applied; you choose and pay.

1. Search. Enter your dates; the code is in the form.
2. Compare. All eighteen products show your price.
3. Check. The saving shows before you pay.
4. Book. Confirmation arrives by email.

Against turning up

Only Mid Stay and two Short Stay zones take turn-up drivers, at £48 to £70 a day.

A week on the airport's turn-up rate costs several times the pre-booked price with the code. Long Stay, JetParks, Meet & Greet and the Premium Short Stay zones cannot be used without booking at all.

What the code does not cover

Charges paid on the day sit outside it.

The Express Set Down, overstays beyond the airport's grace period, transfer levies and exit fees are all separate. Amend the booking before you travel when your dates change.

When to book

Book as soon as the flights are fixed.

Stansted is busy all year, and school holidays fill the cheapest car parks first. Booking early and using the code together give the lowest price. Use the registration of the car you will drive, because the barriers read number plates.

Changes and cancellations

Bookings made with us can be cancelled up to 72 hours before arrival.

Check each operator's terms for amendments. The airport's own terms also give a 72-hour cancellation window on its products.
