Official Meet & Greet in brief
Liverpool's official Meet & Greet works differently from most. There is no driver waiting at the kerb. You leave the car in an arrival lane, deposit your keys at a self-service kiosk and walk to the terminal along a covered walkway, about a minute. On our sample dates it costs less than the multi-storey.
To reach it, follow the RVP Road, signposted as Fast Track Parking, by turning left before the final airport roundabout. The Meet & Greet plinth is on the right. Pull into an arrival lane and switch off.
Instead of handing keys to a person, you deposit them at a self-service kiosk. Staff then park the car. From the lanes, a covered walkway takes you to the terminal in about a minute, so you arrive dry even in the worst of a Merseyside winter.
The service is not suitable for large vehicles such as vans and minibuses. Type 2 AC charging is available as a paid extra, which makes this one of the few ways at Liverpool to come home to a charged car.
Finding it
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is at Speke, on the south-east edge of the city beside the Mersey estuary. As you near the terminal, turn left before the final roundabout onto the RVP Road, signed Fast Track Parking. The plinth is on the right.
Allow a few minutes at the lanes and the kiosk, then a minute's walk.

The airport describes 24-hour patrols and CCTV run by a dedicated car park security team, with number plate recognition at the barriers. It does not state a Park Mark award, so neither do we. Leave nothing on show in the car.

Charging while you are away
Type 2 AC charging is offered at Meet & Greet as a paid service. Add it when you book, and check the charging cable arrangement in your confirmation.
Why it undercuts the multi-storey
At many airports, handing over your car costs more than parking beside the terminal yourself. At Liverpool the order flips. Meet & Greet puts you the same minute from check-in as the multi-storey, and costs less over a week. The multi-storey still suits drivers who want their keys, or a trip of a day or two.
Delayed coming home
The airport's help centre (April 2026) lists overstay charges per 24 hours or part of a day: £15 in Long Stay and Park Smart, £20 in the Multi-Storey, £25 for Meet & Greet and £40 for the Fast Track car parks. Meet & Greet's rate is £25 a day.
