Official Multi-Storey (Short Stay) in brief
Liverpool's multi-storey is the airport's short stay car park, directly across from the terminal and fully under cover. It is the easiest place to leave a car for a few days, and the one the airport suggests for picking people up. The catch is a low height limit, enough to stop a roof box.
The airport treats its multi-storey as short stay parking, so there is one product to book under either name. It stands directly opposite the terminal, and the walk to check-in takes about a minute without stepping outside the covered route.
Being undercover matters more at Liverpool than you might expect. The airport sits on the Mersey estuary, and a car left for a week under a roof comes back free of frost, salt spray and bird mess.
The airport recommends it for business trips of a few days, short family holidays and anyone picking up or dropping off passengers for more than a quick stop. Number plate recognition opens the barrier, and disabled bays sit at the front of the car park.
Finding it
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is at Speke, on the south-east edge of the city beside the Mersey estuary. Follow the terminal signs as you approach the final roundabout; the multi-storey is the building facing the terminal.
With a one-minute walk at the end, the drive itself is almost all of your journey time.

Meeting arrivals from here
The airport points drivers collecting passengers to the multi-storey for anything longer than a quick stop. Pay-on-foot machines sit in Arrivals and on the car park's ground floor, so you can pay on the way back to the car.

Running late on the way home
The airport's help centre (April 2026) lists overstay charges per 24 hours or part of a day: £15 in Long Stay and Park Smart, £20 in the Multi-Storey, £25 for Meet & Greet and £40 for the Fast Track car parks. A short grace period applies first. Anyone stuck abroad for an extra day should expect the multi-storey's rate rather than a fine.
