Official Premium Meet & Greet explained
Newcastle's Premium Meet & Greet is the airport's own service, not an outside firm on the forecourt. You drive into the car park closest to the terminal, hand your keys to staff at a hotel-style reception and walk to check-in in about a minute. On our sample dates it costs only a little more than the cheapest car park the airport runs.
Premium Meet & Greet runs from the car park nearest the terminal. You drive through the inspection booths, park outside the office and check in with a member of staff, who takes your keys. The airport stores the car securely while you are away.
The car park reopened on 3 March 2022 after two years closed during the pandemic, with a hotel-style reception and uniformed staff. It was part of the airport's 2019 investment in premium parking, alongside the Premium Fast Track car park.
Two limits apply. The vehicle must fit under the height limit shown above, and cars with eight or more seats are not accepted. For those, the airport points drivers to Long Stay, Short Stay 1 or Short Stay 2.
Getting there
Newcastle International Airport is at Woolsington, north-west of the city, off the A696. Follow the signs for the terminal and then for Premium Meet & Greet.
Arrive with a few minutes to spare for the check-in at reception.

Height and seats
The height limit is 2.7 metres and cars with eight or more seats are refused. A roof box can push a tall SUV over the limit. For a large vehicle, book Short Stay 1 instead: it is almost as close and has no height limit.

Cameras read number plates at Newcastle's barriers, so the registration on your Meet & Greet booking must be the car you drive. Bookings made with us can be cancelled until 72 hours before arrival.
