Match the Gatwick hotel to your terminal
Stay at the Sofitel or Hampton by Hilton for the North Terminal and the Hilton for the South.
The free shuttle train between terminals runs every few minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes about two minutes, so the wrong side is a small detour rather than a disaster. Your airline decides the terminal, so check your booking first. Our North Terminal and South Terminal guides cover the car parks on each side. The BLOC hotel inside the South Terminal and the Premier Inn opposite the North Terminal are also close, but they are not sold as packages through our search.
How the Gatwick hotel and parking package works
You park at the hotel overnight, then choose APH park and ride or a meet and greet service for the trip. The car does not stay at the hotel for the week unless the package says so.
Drive to the APH car park on Copthorne Road and take the free transfer, every 15 minutes, 24 hours, about 10 to 12 minutes to either terminal.
Drive to the terminal and hand the car to a driver in the Approved Operator area.

Hotel package or parking alone at Gatwick
Parking on its own at Gatwick starts at £53.38 for eight days at AVPS Park & Ride with our code on our sample dates.
A walkway hotel therefore adds £185 or more, while the ibis Styles or Felbridge adds about £105 to £125. For a flight after 9am from within an hour of Gatwick, parking alone is the better buy. Drop-off and the morning run at Gatwick
Dropping off on a Gatwick terminal forecourt costs £10 for the first ten minutes, so the walkway hotels save you that charge.
