A4 Parking is an independent meet and greet service that has operated at Bristol Airport since 2010. A driver meets you in the Drop Off and Pick Up area and takes your car to a secure compound.
A4 Parking is a meet and greet service, not a car park you drive to. On arrival, you take the right-hand lane and follow the pink signs to the Drop Off and Pick Up area, where an A4 driver meets you and takes your car.
Your car goes to one of two secure compounds: the main one about two miles away, and an overflow about seven miles away. The operator describes CCTV and 24-hour patrols at its compounds.
On return, you call after customs and head to the Drop & Go car park, where the operator aims to return your car within about five minutes. A4 Parking has offered Bristol Airport parking since 2010.
Location and getting there
Bristol Airport sits on the A38 at Lulsgate, south of the city. Take the right-hand lane on arrival and follow the pink signs to the Drop Off and Pick Up area.
Call A4 Parking 20 to 25 minutes before you reach the airport, so a driver is waiting. The airport limits stays in the Drop Off and Pick Up area, so keep the handover quick.

A few minutes of preparation makes the day smoother at A4 Parking. With A4 Parking, call 20 to 25 minutes before you arrive, and make sure your booking was made at least 24 hours ahead.
Your confirmation has the number to call on the way in.
Have them ready for the driver.
Remove house keys and key rings before handing it over.
Take valuables and anything you need for the trip.
Check your number plate on the booking matches your car, and allow extra time on the A38 at busy times. Cancellation cover runs up to 72 hours before your arrival time on bookings made with us, so check your dates before that window closes.
Charges to add on the day
A4 Parking hands over in the Drop Off and Pick Up area, where the airport charges £8.50 for up to 10 minutes. It is not included in your booking.
Pickup trucks such as a Navara, L200 or Ranger cost £20 extra on top of the booking price.
Booking rules and vehicle limits
Bookings must be made at least a day before you travel.
No bookings departing or returning 24–27 December, 31 December or 1 January.
Also no long-wheelbase vans, minibuses over eight seats or taxis.
