Official Short Stay: the essentials
Short Stay is Aberdeen's best-selling car park, and it is easy to see why. The multi-storey sits about two minutes from the terminal, most spaces are under cover, and you keep your keys. It also has four EV charging units at the entrance. For a trip of a few days, it costs only a little more than Long Stay.
Short Stay is a multi-storey of more than 500 spaces, mostly undercover, about two minutes' walk from the main terminal building. It is open 24 hours, and number plate recognition lifts the barrier.
The height limit in the multi-storey is 2.2 metres, per the airport. Motorcycles have a dedicated covered area near the exits. Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes free by taking the ticket and badge to the customer service office in Short Stay before leaving.
Four EV charging units sit at the entrance to the car park, rated 7–22kW and charged at 55p per kWh. You bring your own cable, and the airport notes that it cannot promise a charging space is free.
Finding the car park
Aberdeen International Airport is at Dyce, about seven miles north-west of the city centre, close to the A96 and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. Follow the airport signs, then Short Stay.
The multi-storey is a couple of minutes' walk from check-in.

The airport says its car parks hold the Safe Car Park Award from Police Scotland, and lists Park Mark and People's Parking accreditation for Long Stay, with CCTV and regular patrols. Those are the airport's own statements, checked on 25 September 2026. Take valuables with you.

Charging in Short Stay
The four units at the entrance charge at 55p per kWh, and the airport asks drivers to pre-book online at least two hours before arrival or pay barrier rates. You plug in, then pay by the QR code on the unit or the chip and pin reader. Bring a cable, and have a fallback, because a space cannot be promised.
Turning up
Turn-up stays are charged per entry, from £8 up to £60 depending on length, per the airport. The airport says pre-booking saves up to 60%, and our code takes 30% off the booked price.
Short Stay or Priority
Priority Parking is closer still, directly across the road, with wider bays and Priority Security. Short Stay costs less and is only a couple of minutes further.
