Long Stay is the cheapest car park Aberdeen Airport runs, and it does double duty. For a trip, you park, keep your keys and take a free bus of under five minutes to the terminal. For a drop-off or pick-up, the airport lets you leave the car there free for a short stay. It also serves offshore workers flying from the Bristow heliport.
Long Stay is the airport's own budget car park. The airport describes it as its cheapest car parking, with a bus to the terminal of less than five minutes, running from 04:00 until the last arriving flight. You keep your keys.
It holds the Safe Car Park Award from Police Scotland, and the airport lists Park Mark and People's Parking accreditation, with 24-hour CCTV and regular patrols. The car park itself is open 24/7.
On drop-off days, the airport lets drivers leave the car in Long Stay free for up to an hour, with the same free bus to the terminal. Offshore workers heading to the Bristow heliport can use it at the airport's offshore rate.
Finding the car park
Aberdeen International Airport is at Dyce, about seven miles north-west of the city centre, close to the A96 and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. Follow the airport signs, then Long Stay.
Allow around 15 minutes from the barrier to check-in, including the bus.

Free drop-offs
Dropping someone off or collecting them, you can leave the car in Long Stay free of charge for a short stay, per the airport, and use the free bus. The bus and its hours
The first bus leaves early in the morning and the last meets the final arriving flight. For a departure before the first bus, allow for a walk or arrange to arrive after the first bus. On return, the bus waits at the stop signed for Long Stay outside the terminal.
Offshore workers
