Meet and greet at Aberdeen
Aberdeen Airport does not list a meet and greet service, and none is in our price sheet.
At a big airport, meet and greet saves a long bus ride. At Aberdeen, the terminal car parks are a minute or two away, so the need is smaller. This page explains the closest alternatives.
The closest thing: Priority
Priority Parking is directly across the road from the terminal, with Priority Security included.
You park yourself, but the walk is under 100 steps and the security fast track is included for up to two people. For many travellers, that gives the same result as a handover. See the Priority page.
Handing over your keys: Charge & Go
APH Express Charge & Go is the one product where you leave your keys.
You check in at reception on International Gate, staff park and charge the car, and you walk to the terminal in about five minutes. It suits electric car drivers who want the car charged on return. See APH Aberdeen (Express and Charge & Go).

Families and heavy luggage
With children and cases, the short walks at Aberdeen do most of the work.
Drop passengers and bags at the Express Drop-off if needed, then park in Short Stay or Priority. The charge for the drop-off is small against the effort saved, though Blue Badge holders should use Short Stay instead.
Business travellers
Priority is the business traveller's choice at Aberdeen.

The airport's own charging points in Short Stay and Priority let you plug in yourself, at 55p per kWh, but a space cannot be promised.

The airport says its car parks hold the Police Scotland Safe Car Park Award, with CCTV and regular patrols.
At APH's site, the operator describes CCTV, fencing, floodlighting and 24-hour staff.

At Aberdeen, Priority does the job meet and greet does elsewhere.
The airport is small enough that the walk from Priority or Short Stay is shorter than many meet and greet handovers at larger airports. For a key handover with charging, choose APH Charge & Go.
Why Aberdeen has no meet and greet
Meet and greet thrives where car parks are far from the terminal; Aberdeen's are not.
At Gatwick or Manchester, a handover saves a long shuttle. At Aberdeen, the terminal car parks are a short walk and the cheapest official car park has a bus of a few minutes. How to get a similar experience
Drop your passengers at the door, then park close by.
Use the Express Drop-off for a quick unload of bags and passengers, then park in Short Stay or Priority and walk back. For Blue Badge holders, Short Stay's free 30 minutes is the better way to do this.
Charge & Go in detail
Charge & Go is the one product where staff take your keys.
You check in at reception on International Gate, hand over your keys and walk to the terminal. Staff park the car and charge it. On return, you collect your keys at reception and are told where the car is.
Preparing for any key handover
A few minutes of preparation helps.
Remove valuables, take house keys off the ring and note the mileage. Make sure the car starts with a physical key or card, not only a phone app.
When your flight is late
Late flights are simple at Aberdeen.
At Priority and Short Stay, the car is where you left it. At Charge & Go, reception is staffed around the clock, per APH.

About Dyce and the airport
Aberdeen International Airport sits at Dyce, about seven miles north-west of the city centre.
It is the main airport for the North East of Scotland and one of the busiest helicopter bases in the world, thanks to the North Sea energy industry. That mix of offshore crews, business travellers and holidaymakers shapes parking at the airport: Monday mornings are busy, and demand is steadier through the year than at most holiday airports.
The airport is reached from the A96 and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, and Dyce railway station is a short ride away.
