Last-Minute Airport Parking: Can You Still Get a Deal?

A last-minute trip does not mean overpaying for parking. Here is how to still get a good deal at short notice.

Can you get a last-minute deal?

Yes, even at short notice you can usually find better value than the drive-up gate price. While the cheapest rates go to early bookers, pre-booking online a day or two before you travel still beats turning up and paying the premium walk-up rate, and a discount code helps further. We keep the latest saving for each car park on our Cardiff parking discount codes page.

How to save at short notice

Compare every option for your dates rather than heading to one car park, apply BCP30 for up to 30% off, and consider off-airport Park & Ride, which often has space when on-airport is full. Being flexible on car park location can unlock a better last-minute rate.

Avoid the drive-up trap

The most expensive thing to do is turn up without booking and pay the gate price, and at busy times you risk a full car park. Even a last-minute online booking guarantees your space and a lower price, so always pre-book if you can, however close to departure. We compare prices and transfer details on our Bristol long stay parking page.

Our verdict

Last-minute need not mean last-resort prices. Pre-book online even a day before, compare options, and apply BCP30. You will beat the gate price and guarantee a space, turning a rushed booking into a calm one.
